Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this reserch, I explored the historical origin of Japanese business transaction law in the Japanese Commercial Code and grappled with issues whether or not Japanese business transaction law could play a role in the present economical and social situation in Japan. Since work has been underway at the Ministry of Justice since April 2014 on drafting revisions for the transportation law and maritime commerce law, my research also focused on that area. Especially I clarified the necessity of legislation of issues about the consignor's obligation of notification of dangerous goods, time charter party contracts and sea waybill.
