Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Research on consultations in social work in Japan is conventionally understood to be based on professionals providing advice in spite of the fact that it is actually performed by volunteers and local residents, and in addition to the advice skills that are covered in conventions, there are a wide range of other skills that are also required. This research was able to identify thirty-one of these skills. In addition, it was also discovered that it is necessary to combine and circulate consultations outside of the organization (out-house consultations) together with the consultations provided within the organization (in-house consultations) in order to effectively implement consultations within an organization.
