Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We synthesized surface-functionalized gold clusters with precise molecular formula using peptide dendron thiolates as surface protecting agents which construct multiple hydrogen bond-based reaction field. The peptide dendron thiolate-functionalized gold clusters was found to facilitate several photocatalytic oxidation reactions through the reaction field effect of peptide dendrons by visible light irradiation.
