Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Three type of structural control system that can withstand earthquake exceeding assumed level are presented; complementary connected control system by coupling ordinary and base-isolated structures, tuned mass damper utilizing wired pendulum to obtain restoring force, and air-thrust system using symmetrical variable-pitch propeller. Experimental analysis are carried out and fundamental property are clarified.
