Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Diamond like carbon (DLC) has drawing attentions as a laser target in high power laser experiments. We studied high accuracy DLC deposition technique for these experiments. We found that the DLC properties were changed by changing a source gas, DLC layer adhesion became better by changing a base material. Graphite component of DLC layer were increased by irradiation of YAG laser. These results suggest that we can control DLC properties in and after deposition process.
