Outline of Final Research Achievements

The aim of this study to better understand sink-source regulation of Rosaceae fruit trees through investigating gene regulation by cross-talk between specific sugar signal and plant hormones. Microarray analyses revealed genes regulated by sorbitol of Arabidopsis. Full-length cDNA encoding S6PDH was isolated from loquat.
