Outline of Final Research Achievements

A monitoring method in a more sensitive and stable natural sea area for three new viruses infected with marine floating diatoms, Cylindrotheca closterium, have developed. During the experiment, host real-time qPCR, genome analysis of three new viruses, development of real-time qRT-PCR, and development of a virus quantitative detection method by ELISA were performed.
As a result, method of stable and good quantification / detection sensitivity from natural sea water by real-time qRT-PR method and Direct ELISA method have developed.
