Outline of Final Research Achievements |
A tumor suppressor gene was regulated by cooperation of histone H3 variant incorporated by histone chaperone and histone modification working together with incorporation of histone H3 variant. On the other hand, incorporation of histone H3 variant did not lead to complete change of gene expression profiling distinguishing two different breast cancer subtypes. Significant correlations between CAF (cancer associated with fibroblast)-TEM1-positivity or CAF-TEM1-intensity and RFS (recurrence-free survival), OS (overall survival), or COS (cancer-related overall survival) were observed (P < 0.001, Kaplan-Meier curves) regarding gastric cancer patients.
