Outline of Final Research Achievements |
IFN-εis unique reproductive-specific type I IFN. We have shown that importin 9 (IPO9) regulate IFN-ε. In this study, we focused on local regulation of gene expression of IFN-ε. Analysis for 5’ untranslated region of IFN-εmRNA showed that IPO9 unaffected mRNA stability of IFN-ε. In addition we found molecules that can interact with IPO9.
