Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study had the following two goals: (1) determine differences in the prevalence of anemia in infacy due to the presence or absence of anemia during pregnancy; (2) examine the influence of anemia in infancy on the psychomotor development.
Anemia prevalence was slightly higher in infants born from pregnant women with anemia. No significant association was found between the presence or absence of anemia in infancy and the psychomotor development.
