Outline of Final Research Achievements |
1. We successfully fabricated cell sheets with using thyroid cell of resected human thyroid tissues. 2. These cell sheets expressed thyroid cell-specific markers, i. e., TTF1、TG. Furthermore, cultured thyroid cells produced and secreted thyroid hormone in culture medium. 3. Multilayer thyroid cell sheets with fibroblasts (human TIG118) did not show increase in thyroid hormone production compared to monolayer thyroid cell sheets.
