Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We tried to develop a shoulder dislocation model using fresh cadavers. First, we made a custom made dislocation device with a load-cell and magnetic sensor. Using procine and monkey shoulders, we did a preliminary exeriment. Then, we performed a experiment using fresh frozen cadaveric shoulders. We also did another biomechanical study to clarify the relationship between the range of shoulder motion and the gelnoid track. Our data showed that horizontal extention motion affected the glenoid track most.
