Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study examined the literature on the role of nurses in long-term follow-up care for the development of care programs, and clarified the contents and targets of care for children with chronic diseases including childhood cancer by survey. We made a summary sheet and feedback sheet for long-term follow-up, and clarified follow-up care patterns by examining 15 cases. In addition, the survival of survivors and their families revealed by meta-synthesis was an experience that balances the self-care ability of the survivors and the management ability of the families in the “ambiguous and uncertain” survival. It was to make the most of the ability toward the independence of the survivors. We conducted conceptual analysis to reveal "independence" of children with chronic diseases including childhood cancer.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
