Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, crystallizaion experiments were cariied out to obtain the information of structural and functional relationship of DdrA, a DNA-related protein repair-related protein of Deinococcus radiodurans.
We have constructed expression vector of DdrA derived from multiple species and successfully selected the constructs suitable for crystallization. We also found that there is novel processing mechanism.
We are going to clarify the new processing mechanism as well as advance the crystal analysis in the future.
