Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a touch screen which can count touches irrespective of the hand shapes and positions. So we utilized the mathematics of topological invariants under continuous morphings. Especially, we developed the algorithms utilizing (1) Poincare-Hopf index, and (2) Euler calculus, for two strains of our topological touch counters.
