Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Although diffusion of the youth period is pointed out in some sociological studies, in other words the youth period makes the border vague and spreading, the real state of such phenomena is not clarified in empirical studies. This study examine Japanese "late youth"'s sense of value and life course to examine the research question "how Japanese people 'graduate' youth (how do Japanese people become not young)?" through the internet survey. It is clarified that even in forties, the ratio of people who think he or she was not a youth completely stayed below about 40% and that there are relations between self-knowledge of youth and educational background, and between self-knowledge of youth and vocation.
