Outline of Final Research Achievements

We conducted fundamental tool developments of photo manipulation of the gene expression. We optimized photo-activatable transcriptional factors for neural circuit studies. We generated a series of lenti virus vectors that can express GAVPO and UAS-downstream genes under the control of blue light.
