Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In XY mammal, Sex-determining region Y (Sry) transiently expresses in undifferentiated embryonic gonads, thereby inducing testis differentiation. I tried to establish antibodies that recognize endogenous mouse SRY protein to identify SRY target genes. Gonads from mouse embryos at embryonic day 11.5 were subjected to ChIP analysis with the anti-SRY antibodies. Next, ChIPed DNA was applied to the next generation sequencing analysis to identify candidates of SRY target genes.
