Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we aimed to explore genetic function of microbial life inhabited in subseafloor biosphere. For searching unknown microbial genetic function, we employed substrate-induced gene expression (SIGEX) approach that relies gene expression induced by exposure of substrate.
