Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To clarify the pathogenesis and medical treatment of functional pituitary adenoma, we have performed a comprehensive genetic analysis of the GH-producing pituitary adenoma. Regarding Cushing’s disease, we performed a microarray analysis and screened molecular targeted therapy using primary culture tumor cells. We have further established a protocol for the differentiation from human iPS cells into pituitary in vitro. We have published 15 English papers and 13 Japanese papers.
