Outline of Final Research Achievements

To address perioperative risk assessment in patient with sleep apnea syndrome, we tested the usefulness of 24hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring(ABPM) in patient undergoing abdominal surgery. ABPM, troponinT value, NT-proBNP value were measured before the surgery and 2POD. Worsening of nocturnal hypertension was observed in 6 of 7 patients.
