Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Past concepts of sport services in the physical activity and sport management field have been demonstrated as being categorized into four areas: sport businesses, the sport services industry, sport services business offerings, and sport activities. Furthermore, it has been shown that the majority of sport service-related studies in Japan tend to focus only on sport service business offerings among the abovementioned four areas, and the majority of these studies look at the services provided at the place of exercise within the context of the conditions necessary for people to lead an active sport lifestyle. Lastly, results of an examination of the overall picture of sport services, supposedly required in the promotion of sport today, revealed that these services are of twelve varieties within three groups.
