Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We developed a polarization-maintain-type optical frequency comb oscillator and generated a comb light with a center wavelength of 1570 nm and a full-width at half maximum of 49 nm. Then we a developed polarization-maintain-type fiber amplifier and adjust the its dispersion to obtain a high pulse energy. However, we have not obtained the sufficient energy to broaden the spectrum more than one-octave. On the other hand, we have successfully obtained the optical frequency comb spanning from visible to mid-infrared using non-polarization-maintain-type comb and PPLN waveguide. Therefore we can see the prospect to a efficient and stable generation of the broadband comb by replacing this system to polarization-maintain type.
