Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We tried to develop a chronic muscle pain model with taut band and understand a pathological condition by using optogenetics. Light-stimulation of skeletal muscle expressing the light-sensitive channel Channelrhodopsin-2 (ChR2) evoked tetanic contractions. Light-stimulation exposed directly to the muscle evoked larger tetanic contractions compare with exposed through the skin.
