Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, the author investigated two stage questions. First, we figure out whether a specialist physician staffing improves patient's outcomes using large clinical database and physician cohort in Japan. Second, we conducted web-based questionnaire and exploratory analyzed association between physicians socioeconomic status and career choices. As a result, we figure out that specialist physician staffing improved patient outcome in cerebral infarction patients. In web-based questionnaire result, we found that physicians socioeconomic status might be associated with physicians career choice. Further research is required to investigate the factor associate physicain selection of a specific field of a specialist.
