Outline of Final Research Achievements |
During the study period, we performed irreversible electroporation (IRE) therapy for 5 patients with 6 hepatocelullar carcinoma. It has found that we observed no serious side effet. Thus the treatment safety is preserved. In paticular, we could perform IRE for nodules next to major hepatic vesseles safely. Such nodules seem to be difficult to treat with thermal ablation represented by Radio frequency ablatioon. Thsu IRE is suited for such nodules.
