Outline of Final Research Achievements

Clear cell sarcoma is one of malignant soft tissue sarcoma and EWS/ATF1, chimeric fusion gene, plays important role of tumorigenesis. The objective of this research is to reveal the relationship between EWS/ATF1 and microRNA (miRNA). An siRNA targeting EWS/ATF1 made miR-3127-5p to be upregulated. Transfection of miR-3127-5p to clear cell sarcoma cell line revealed both a suppression of cell proliferation and migratory capacity. These findings suggest miR-3127-5p has a potential to be a novel target of clear cell sarcoma treatment.
