Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We have developed a new treatment method (MCL Thermotherapy) that can specifically warm cancer lesions using magnetic nanoparticles and reported the therapeutic effect on various cancers. We examined the effectiveness of MCL Thermotherapy against bladder cancer this time. MCL has high cell affinity and proved to be significant adsorption to bladder cells. Moreover, not only direct tumor shrinkage effect but also enhancement of tumor immunity via immunity induction cytokine was observed. MCL thermotherapy proved to be an effective treatment for highly sensitive bladder cancer of immunotherapy.
