Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To determine the participation of LOXL2 in lymph node metastasis, stable LOXL2 knockdown cells (LOXL2 KD) were established by using lentivirul vector system. LOXL2 KD cells exhibited significantly low metastatic ability the control cells in the mouse lymph node metastasis model, suggesting that LOXL2 can participate in lymph node metastasis of SCCs. Exosomes was purified from the blood of the head and neck squamous cell cancer cases. The presence of LOXL2 was confirmed by immunoblotting analyses. LOXL2 expression was high in cancer cases
