We developed new reflection type quantitative ultrasound bone density measuring apparatus and tested the measurement accuracy. We planned the application of the device to the site which we were hard to measure in before. As a result, it was confirmed that we could infer the bone density of target bones by measuring SOS with the reflection type quantitative ultrasound bone density measuring apparatus that we developed newly. Whereas it was found in the reflection wave SOS of this device that the estimate of the bone substance was difficult.
