Outline of Final Research Achievements

In the present study, cyclic mechanical loading affect the gene expression of type I collagen and collagen-modifying enzymes on mouse periodontal ligament-derived cells. These results indicate that optimization of loading regimen may enhance the quantity and quality of type I collagen matrix produced by periodontal ligament-derived cells.
