Outline of Final Research Achievements

We have created a new criterion for evaluating the oral mucosal status of children undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplant with myeloablative treatment. After that, we devised a systemic infection prevention program using 3DS and showed that clinical application of 3DS can mitigate mucositis.
Then we clarified the mechanism by which 3DS relieves mucositis.
And we found that permanent teeth defects, dwarf teeth and morphologically abnormal teeth occur frequently with chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.
