Outline of Final Research Achievements

We developed a simple and new insulin resistance index derived from a glucose clamp test in Japanese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. 20/(fasting plasma glucose × fasting C-peptide) is a simple and effective index of insulin resistance, and it is possible to predict the results of glucose clamp test.
