Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aimed to grasping the visual information when the elderly visits the facility visited for the first time and the place remaining in the impression after the movement and examining the safety measures for fall prevention from the viewpoint of environment adjustment nursing care. In gaze measurement, it was many in the part where gaze stopped while walking It was the floor of the corridor. Although many falls occur in toilet, little could be learned about this topic during the visits because many of the study participants did not need to use the toilet. When prospective residents visit facilities for the elderly, efforts should be made to help them locate things that they would need to use if they move there. Beginning this process with the initial visit can help them avoid feeling embarrassed about a lack of knowledge.
