Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, we clarified the dopaminergic modulation onto the GABAergic inhibitory synaptic transmission in nucleus accumbens of the normal rats or mice (Kohnomi et al., 2015, 2017).
we showed that daily restraint stress (for 1 week) altered the function of serotonergic nervous system in medial prefrontal cortex and nucleus accumbens. This mild stress did not influence the dopaminergic functions.
