| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we considered the following tradeoff optimization problems and obtained quality guarantees.
(1) We gave an optimal algorithm for the video-ad allocation problem. (2) We introduced a secretary problem with a choice function and provided an optimal algorithm. (3) We evaluated the tradeoff among p-norms for maximum weight independent set problems. (4) We proposed a constant additive approximation algorithm for the ``modularity'' maximization problem.
