Outline of Research at the Start

早稲田大学保管のフスタート遺跡イスラームガラス資料について、再整理と撮影・実測を行い、資料の図版と写真、出土情報を網羅したカタログの作成と公開を目指す。あわせてフスタート遺跡における最初期および初期イスラームガラスの考古学的研究を実施し、資料の様式分類と編年の再構築を試みる。同時にその分類とすりあわせた体系的なガラス資料の材質分析（蛍光X線分析など）を行い、ガラス材質の変遷や生産地を明らかにする。
