Outline of Research at the Start

学長・プロボスト（教学担当）・CFO（財務担当）が役割を分担する「三役分担モデル」が推進される日本の大学ガバナンス改革を背景に、教学・経営統合マネジメントを担うプロボスト職の実態と有効性を実証的に明らかにする。質的・量的調査を組み合わせた文献分析・国内インタビュー・全国アンケート調査により日本の実態を把握し、プロボスト職が先進的に制度化された米国および少子化・大学統廃合が進む台湾との国際比較を通じて、統合マネジメントの理論的枠組みを構築する。研究成果は国際学会発表・英文論文投稿に加え、大学評価コンソーシアムを通じた実践現場へのフィードバックにより日本の大学経営の向上・改善に貢献する。
