Outline of Research at the Start

我々は急性期虚血性脊髄障害モデルに対する骨髄間葉系幹細胞 （Mesenchymal Stem　Cells：MSCs) の経静脈的投与を行い、治療効果を発揮することを報告した 。外傷性脊髄損傷に対しては既に慢性期においても MSCsの経静脈的投与によって運動機能の回復効果をもたらすことを確認しており、慢性期虚血性脊髄障害に対する治療効果も期待される。我々は、 慢性期の虚血性脊髄損傷モデルを確立し、複数回MSC 投与によるの治療効果を検討した。慢性期虚血性脊髄障害モデルラットに対するの経静脈的投与によって運動機能の回復傾向がみられた。
