Outline of Research at the Start

医療観察法は、心神喪失や心神耗弱の状態で重大な他害行為を行った人に医療・看護を提供する法律である。医療観察法病棟で働く看護師は、ケア対象者でもある法対象者に対して、精神疾患と重大な他害行為に対する二重のスティグマを抱くことが考えられるが、実態は明らかにされていない。スティグマとは、近年、恥や信頼喪失の烙印とされ、特定の人を蔑む態度・行為とされている。本研究では、医療観察法病棟経験のある看護師のダブルスティグマの実態とその特徴を明らかにすることに加えて、ダブルスティグマを踏まえた管理的側面や教育的取り組みなどを明らかにし、スティグマ低減の取り組みや看護師による虐待防止の示唆を得る研究である。
