Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、記憶をめぐるベルクソンの存在論の基礎的なテーゼを体系化することを通して時間的に拡張された認知という構想を提示し、ベルクソン独自の表象概念が身体性認知の理論間にある表象の理解のギャップを解消するものであることを示す。その際に、ベルクソンの議論の論敵として、連合主義者（ヒューム、J・S・ミル、H・テーヌ、Th・リボなど）を想定し、『物質と記憶』や『精神エネルギー』におけるベルクソンの議論を連合主義との対決として再構成するという哲学史的な方法を採用する。また、それと同時に、現代の記憶の哲学などの理論的枠組みを用いて、ベルクソンの提示する記憶論の現代的な射程を明示する。
