Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、近代漆工のより詳細な編年と基礎研究の構築を目的とする。その上で本研究が主眼とするのは、『日本漆器新聞』（柴崎風岬編、日本漆器同業会発行）の網羅的な調査と、京阪神の工芸界において特に重要な役割を果たした宮﨑タンス店（現：宮﨑木材工業株式会社）の動向に関する調査である。申請者が継続して行っている宮﨑木材工業株式会社の所蔵資料の調査作業を継続し、近代漆工を考えるうえで重要な『日本漆器新聞』のデータ収集及び調査を行う。本研究を遂行することで、工芸、絵画、建築、学術、産業と分野を問わず相互補完的な動向をみせた近代の様相を具体的に示すことで、美術工芸史全般の研究発展に寄与することが期待できる。
