Research Abstract |
Some people say that vacational education in schools is on the decline. Others argue that upper secondary stage should be general excluding vocational education. But is the trend so straightaway as unreversible? If it is actual, is it advantageous for the society to banish vocational elements from the secondary education? We have investigated and considered the problems of vocational education in schools especially on secondary level from the points of industrial and comparative education. Japanese situation might be said that it stands out the world trends in that vocational education is structually fit in the secondary stage of the educational systems in most countries. We are not certain for the present that other countries would follow in the wake of Japan
