Research Abstract |
Ventialtons in Air-tightened House Traditional wooden house in Japan had been adapted to humid climate in summer and had excessive ventilations throughout the year. It became deep-rooted custom to heat only a part of the house in winter and succeeded to the present where the air-tightness of the houses are increasing rapidly. Under these background, following studies had been done by eight research members. 1. Air-tightness of actual houses 2. Distribution and fluctuations of indoor temperature, humidity and <CO_2> concentrations in actual houses 3. Dynamic calculations and measurements of ventilation by wind pressure fluctuation 4. Air-tightening of the house and the concentrations of radon and radon-daughters 5. Refreshing effects of fluctuating air current 6. Whole house heating as the condition of air-tightening 7. Improvement of exhausting range hoods in kitchen 8. Actual conditions of ventilations in the attics and their use for a preheater of supply air to the living space 9. Actual conditions of earth contacted spaces and countermeasures for dehumidification 10. Efficiency of heat exchanging ventilation systems and their applications to the dehumidiffier 11. Indoor climate of the house in eastern Hokkaido having cold and foggy days in summer
