Research Abstract |
During the three years of the organized research project, the following problems have been elucidated; the details are described in the Final Report (attached) of the project. 1. Structures of the multi-particle correlation functions in Coulombic systems; 2. Methods of integral equations in the analyses of correlation functions; 3. The local-field corrections for description of strong-coupling effects; 4. Equations of state and phase properties in various cases of dense plasmas; 5. Miscibilities in multi-ionic plasmas; 6. Theories and computer simulations of the glass transition; 7. Strong Coulomb-coupling effects, electronic quantum effects and non-Born effects in transport coefficients of dense plasmas; 8. Micro-field distributions and polarization shifts of impurity lines in dense plasmas; 9. Bremsstrahlung from dense plasmas; 10. Ionization equilibrium and metal-insulator transition; 11. Plasma surfaces; 12. Correlations and excitation in plasmas with lower dimensions.
