Research Abstract |
We studies the relationships between characters of spatials(ranges of behavior, functions of station, locomotive truck and so forth) and developments of playing ability. Purpose of this study is the locomoyive behavior by 7 infants from aged 1 to 4 years in an unfamiliar situation. Methods for recording are ultra sonic locomotion locator (TAKEI & Company,Ltd) and VTR. The results are as follows. 1) Quantitative indication of locomotive behavior such as distance of locomotive truck, range and speed are increasing according to age of years. 2) There are several stations (bases) in the locomotive range.3) The most dintinguished station is around mother. 4) Others are around toy box, furniture and other adults. 5) There are two types of locomotive trucks, circular type in which they have traveled several stations and a round in which they traveled from one station to another. 6) Locomotive behaviors are facilitated by joining siblings, otherwise inhibited by unfamiliar infants.
