Research Abstract |
The aims of this research project are,(1) to compile various time-series statistical data of the education, (2) to develop new educational indexis for analysing the dynamic change of the educational system. Various Ministries have made public various kinds of statistical data which are related to the education. Those statistical data, however, are not unified in their formats. In order to carry out any time-series analysis, we need at first to collect needed data from various statistical reports, and to compile those data into the unified format. Therefore, we tried to produce data-sets of the education and to make them public for researchers interested to the educational research. We collected statistical data from the Fundamental Survey of Education, of Household, of Salary, of Employment which are related to the Education, and compiled about 50 data-base which are ready to use for the time-serious analysis. Using those data, we devised various educational index of new type. One of the outputs from this project is the forecasting of the future demand for the school teachers of each prefectures.
