Research Abstract |
Acoustic Emission Wave Analysis System for the Evaluation of Defects in Composites Mateirals was establised. The system consists of 6ch transducers, pre amplifier wave memory and analysis software. In the system, all the data are stored in wave memory, which is 10 bit maximum sampling speed 25 n sec and 2M bites. Using these 6ch data, the algorithm for location amplitude destribution and AE source characterization was established. This system was applied to the fracture process in GFRP and Cu-W composites, and the usefullness of this eqiupment to evaluate the reliability of composite materials ware verified.
