Research Abstract |
The objects of this projects are to know the water purification capacity, to get a design guidelines for water pufification using a macrophyto, water Hyacinth (Eichhornia crasipes (Mart) Solms) and to investigate the utilization of water hyacinth to animal foods. In order to achive the objects mentioned above, the following subjects are included: (1) Effects of nutrients concentration in water on the growth of water hyacinth (2) Cralification of the relationship between the growth rate and the cultivation dencity of water hyacinth (3) Effects of harvesting management of water hyacinth on water purification capacity (4) The relationahip between the accumulation of heavy metals to water hyacinth and the inhibition of the growth Water hyacinths were cultivated using the natural water-way for irrigation water and the artificial channel setted in a green house for conducting the above subjects. (5) Utilization of water hyacinth to animal foods water hyacinth cultivated in the natural water-way were used for this study.
