The aim of present study is to prepare revised edition of M.W.M. program and apply it to the handicapped. This M.W.M. program is the device for developing language abilities for the children of language disabilities. In other words. the purposes are (1)to prepare the inventory as a screening device in identifying children with possible language learning disabilities, (2)to prepare revised manuals for developing children's reception, association, expression, memory and closure of language, (3)to develop learning materials and (4)to apply this program to the children with language learning disabilities. We,investigators standardized the inventory of language abilities which is a screening devise for use by teachers or parents in identifying children with possible language learning disabilities. Reliability by test and retest method was .81. Validity was significant. Correlation coefficient between this test and achievement test of language was .79. We adapted the teaching manuals for Japanese edition. After critical review, we investigated the integration of this M.W.M. program into the Semantic Organizer which is used to relate minor categories with a major category in a special way. The Organizer consists of verb, noun, concept and episodic organizer. The application of these program to handicapped children was effective.
